Why I'm Starting to Write Here

I've wanted a space like this for a while.

Most of my published work sits inside a professional context — economic reports, data-driven analyses, narratives built around freight markets and supply chains. I love that work. It's given me a front-row seat to some of the most interesting signals in the physical economy, and I get to write about things that genuinely matter: how goods move, how markets react before anyone else notices, what the data reveals before the headlines catch up.

But there's a whole layer of thinking that doesn't fit neatly into a quarterly report.

This is where I'll put those. I want to write about the industrial systems that most interest me, that power the economy and lay in the background to our every day lives.

Some posts will be analytical. Some will be more exploratory. Either way, I'm glad you're here.
